Hi there, just read your journal of the West Highland Way, Well done, enjoyed the journal, the pictures were good too.
I am walking the West Highland Way in August with a friend, lets hope we have as much fun as yourselves.

Like how your WHW story begins in "Grannie" mode and progressively moves to "Ladette".

I walked WHW solo in 2001. The weather was good. If I'd had your weather, I'd have needed the collective cheer of walking companions to get me through.

I'll bet people remember meeting you lot!!!

I enjoyed your west highland way story......great tale!
Sorry it rained most of the time. I walked it the end of May and we had gales, rain & hail!

What an enjoyable read. We are planning on doing Hadrian's Wall in 2012 but if I can convince my husband to retire then we can do the WHW as well which we had thought about doing a few years back. Happy walking :D
